orientadas al estudio de la organizaci\u00f3n, din\u00e1mica y evoluci\u00f3n de los cromosomas en especies modelo de insectos de gran inter\u00e9s no s\u00f3lo a nivel citogen\u00e9tico y evolutivo, sino tambi\u00e9n a nivel agroecon\u00f3mico, ecol\u00f3gico, sanitario y de monitoreo de ambientes acu\u00e1ticos.\u00a0Nuestras l\u00edneas de trabajo\u00a0tienen por finalidad\u00a0proponer modelos que expliquen la conducta de los cromosomas en la mitosis y la meiosis, plantear hip\u00f3tesis sobre los mecanismos involucrados en la evoluci\u00f3n del cariotipo e interpretar la historia evolutiva
