Para llevar a cabo una investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica v\u00e1lida es esencial un cuidadoso dise\u00f1o experimental o muestral que optimice los recursos disponibles, as\u00ed como un adecuado planteo del modelo estad\u00edstico que responda a este dise\u00f1o. A\u00fan las hip\u00f3tesis biol\u00f3gicas m\u00e1s sencillas suelen requerir modelos estad\u00edsticos complejos, que si est\u00e1n fuera del alcance del investigador pueden conducir a una simplificaci\u00f3n arbitraria de los an\u00e1lisis, empobreciendo y sesgando las conclusiones.<\/p><p>En este curso se estudiar\u00e1n modelos lineales con nivel creciente de complejidad, que permitir\u00e1n a los estudiantes contar con una amplia gama de recursos para modelar variables provenientes de variados dise\u00f1os y de distinta naturaleza. En el m\u00f3dulo 1 se presentar\u00e1n los modelos lineales generales, que representan el abordaje cl\u00e1sico para variables respuesta con distribuci\u00f3n normal. Veremos alternativas de modelado frente al habitual incumplimiento del supuesto de igualdad de varianzas y de independencia en las observaciones. En el m\u00f3dulo 2 se presentar\u00e1n los modelos lineales generalizados, que permiten analizar otras distribuciones de probabilidad, como binomial, Poisson, etc y finalmente se abordar\u00e1n los modelos lineales generalizados mixtos, de uso cada vez m\u00e1s difundido.<\/p><p>Para el an\u00e1lisis de los datos se utilizar\u00e1 R. Plan firmado que incluya Biometr\u00eda II<br \/>Modelos lineales generales y mixtos (M\u00f3dulo 1).\u00a0Materia de postgrado, 8 semanas, 48 hs de clases te\u00f3ricas, 64 hs de pr\u00e1ctica en laboratorio obligatoria. Otorga 3 puntos<br \/>Modelos lineales generalizados y mixtos (M\u00f3dulo 2).\u00a0Materia de postgrado, 6 semanas, 36 hs de clases te\u00f3ricas, 48 hs de pr\u00e1ctica en laboratorio obligatoria. Otorga 2 puntos<br \/>Los estudiantes de postgrado pueden optar por cursar uno o ambos m\u00f3dulos. El m\u00f3dulo 2 tiene como correlativa el m\u00f3dulo 1, o An\u00e1lisis de la varianza y dise\u00f1o de experimentos, o conocimientos equivalentes.\u00a0\u00a0Los estudiantes de postgrado y docentes de FCEN est\u00e1n exceptuados del pago de aranceles.
